SEEKING: Marketing Coordinator – Golf Industry Central

Golf Industry Central is a main source for news and information for the golf industry in Australasia. They also provide a suite of different consulting services to golf clubs and suppliers in the region.

The Role:

The Marketing Coordinator will support the Managing Director to effectively assist with the delivery of the plans and activities pertaining to Golf Industry Central’s various internal marketing requirements as well for the various clients they support.

Key expectations are:

  • Assist with the development, coordination and delivery of internal and external communication plans and activities which includes mostly digital platforms.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the company’s digital media including the various websites it manages.
  • Assist with compiling marketing plans for company and clients.

The successful applicant will be required to work independently while also having strong skills for working in small teams.

The Person:

This role is ideal for those looking for Casual / part-time work (10-20hrs per week to start) that is very flexible in nature as most would be undertaken remotely and in your own schedule.

A tertiary qualification in Communication/Marketing is preferred. Demonstrated IT proficiency (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and digital media skills are essential. Knowledge of the golf industry would be beneficial but not essential.

  • Accomplishes sales and marketing objectives by planning, developing, implementing and evaluating advertising and promotion programs
  • Formulates and manages marketing budgets.
  • Plans and implements advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic/social media and direct marketing.
  • Creates and reinforces brand awareness.
  • Establishes and improves customer loyalty and relationships.
  • Reviews and monitors the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years management experience in similar sales and marketing role.
