Royal Sydney is a Sydney icon originally established in 1893. It is recognised nationally and internationally for its world class facilities. With 17 modern accommodation rooms set in historical surroundings that provide amazing harbour and golf course views. The Club has a fine dining restaurant, several food & beverage outlets and multiple function rooms. Royal Sydney is renowned for international events in both golf and tennis, other facilities including a gymnasium with two swimming pools, bowling greens, croquet lawns and squash courts.
We are seeking a casual Ranger to work on Wednesdays and Saturdays to oversee the smooth operation of play on the course.
What will I be doing?
Reporting to the Golf Manager your key tasks will include:
- To administer Speed of Play Guidelines during members’ competitions and to monitor golfers on the course to ensure access guidelines are adhered to, which includes taking action against slow players
- To be a presence on the Course to assist with member queries, dress, rules, security and any emergencies should they arisea
- Provide a strong support to the Golf Manager and assist with all facets of play
- Report course observations to Management
- Be an active member of the Medical Emergency Response Team
