Tagmarshal – the golf course intelligence and pace-of-play management solution trusted by over 250 leading public golf courses, private country clubs and resorts across the globe – has partnered with Golf Industry Central (GIC) – Australasia’s leading news, information  and marketing hub for the golf industry.

Tagmarshal provides golf courses around the globe with the tools to actively pursue consistent and high quality player experiences via better on-course field flow, excellent pace of play, optimised set-ups and easier management, resulting in increased revenue and operational efficiency. Tagmarshal is partner to 20 of the Top 100 USA golf courses, including East Lake (2019 TOUR Championship), Whistling Straits (2020 Ryder Cup), Erin Hills (2017 U.S. Open) and more. Recently named the “pace of play intelligence software leaders” (Forbes magazine), Tagmarshal is an Irish company with a US set-up in Atlanta GA.

GIC Managing Director Mike Orloff said he was thrilled to partnering up with Tagmarshal, and to help grow their presence and client base in Australasia.

“My personal background in golf operations and specifically pace of play management goes back a few decades, and it’s a critical area to get right in creating a great service experience at any golf facility,” Orloff said.

“I was also fortunate to be mentored by Bill Yates (The guru of pace of play) over a three-year period, working closely with him on clubs here in Australia to improve their pace of play.” Tagmarshal also worked closely with Bill, who acted as a mentor to the team and was engaged in the planning, before he unfortunately passed away in June 2018.

Tagmarshal works with individual public, private and resort course operators across nine countries to identify operational efficiencies and grow their business from within.

The benefits of Tagmarshal’s solutions extend beyond quicker pace of play and more enjoyable rounds. Heat mapping for course maintenance and data collection make this technology more than a one-dimensional commodity, providing operators with tools and data to provide management oversight and make data driven decisions.

“Tagmarshal is excited to expand into the Australasian market and has recently signed a top 5 Australian course – proof of our commitment to bringing Australian and New Zealand golf courses access to the best in golf course intelligence software.”

“Having analysed over 8,000,000 rounds of golf across 1 billion data points, Tagmarshal looks forward to sharing their expertise in Australasia.”
