The Eastern Golf Club opens the final 9 holes of its 27 hole, Greg Norman designed, championship standard course  today.  Less than a year after Greg Norman officially opened the new course on October, 16, 2015, the full 27 holes will be available for the first time to members and their guests.

“The opening of the final nine holes is a great achievement for the entire team and sees the next phase of our development completed. The increased capacity will enable us to significantly reduce our current membership waiting lists, with only seven day memberships experiencing a 1-2 year wait,” said General Manager, Benjamin Telley.

With its stunning setting where bushland intersects with the Yarra River against the backdrop of the Christmas Hills and Dividing Ranges, The Eastern Golf Club has established a beautiful country estate and has launched a range of new ‘golf’ destination experiences to fully showcase the natural beauty of the Yarra Valley:

  • Stay and Play’ – priced from $439 per night and inclusive of accommodation in a one bedroom cottage in Trip Advisor’s #1 Rated boutique accommodation in the Yarra Valley – Yering Gorge Cottages by The Eastern Golf Club, and 18 holes of golf for two guests.
  • ‘Executive Golf Experience’ – make a lasting impression on your most valued corporate clients with packages priced from AU$175.00 per person for groups of 12 guests or more.
  • ‘Executive Retreat Experience’ – complement the Executive Golf Experience with overnight accommodation and a Yarra Valley inspired dinner in The Eastern Golf Club’s private boardroom.

“We are excited that the launch of these new experiences will encourage the continued emergence of the Yarra Valley as a premier golfing destination,” added Telley.

The Eastern Golf Club will open their separate 9 hole Par 3 course in February / March, 2017.
