The Grange GC appoints new Golf Club Manager
Illawarra, NSW, 19th July, 2016 – The NSW South Coast’s leading golf club The Grange, announces that Troon Golf’s Scott McCaw has been appointed Golf Operations Manager of The Grange Golf Club in Kembla Grange.
Scott, who will be relocating to Wollongong from his current position as General Manager of Troon’s Saadiyat Beach Golf Club in the UAE, brings more than 16 years’ experience in managing upscale golf operations internationally to the role. This includes eight years with Troon managing clubs in the Azores, Morocco and Abu Dhabi.

His expertise in building a range of successful golf clubs across the globe is vital to our vision of bringing domestic and international golf tourism to the Illawarra region. On behalf of the team, I would like to welcome Scott and his family to the Illawarra ahead of his arrival in mid-August.”
Scott McCaw, newly-appointed Golf Operations Manager of The Grange Golf Club, said, “My wife is from Australia, and our twin girls have Aussie passports, so I jumped at this opportunity to be part of a progressive club like The Grange and to move to Australia.
“My background has been working in various regions increasing golf participation both locally and internationally, increasing awareness and driving membership to clubs.
“With improved function facilities, The Grange is transforming from a great golf venue to more a regional golf and country club for the whole community through the joint hospitality management of Dapto Leagues team. I look forward to introducing myself to The Grange’s member base and other key stakeholders in the coming weeks.”
