New CEO for Rosebud Country Club

Brad Groves is the newly appointed chief executive officer of the Rosebud Country Club.

Groves comes to the club with outstanding credentials.

The 41-year-old worked as finance manager and deputy chief executive officer at Thirteenth Beach Golf Links in Barwon Heads for the past four years.

Prior to that he was with the ANZ Banking Group for 20 years as a relationship manager in business and corporate.

Brad holds a bachelor of commerce degree from Deakin University, majoring in accounting and law.

He is a member of the CPA and Golf Management Victoria.

Brad is keen golfer, and holds a handicap of seven.

He’s married with two children and is looking forward to relocating to the Mornington Peninsula.

The search for a new chief executive officer attracted plenty of interest.

Sixty eight applications were received.

Most were from Australia, but interest also extended South Africa, Singapore, Dubai and New Zealand.

Rosebud Country Club President Neil Heathcote said the board were pleased that Brad accepted the club’s offer.

“Brad comes to us with highly respected credentials,” Heathcote said.

“We look forward to him starting in the role and taking the club forward.”
 
Brad will start work at the Rosebud Country Club on June 1.
