NZ: Pukekohe Golf Club Unveils $2.5 Million Clubhouse Transformation

POSTED ON May 22, 2026 @ 2:21 pm

KARAKA — The Pukekohe Golf Club has officially unveiled its spectacular $2.5 million clubhouse refurbishment, marking a major milestone in the club’s history and cementing its role as a premier community and dining destination.

The extensive upgrade blends modern luxury with the club’s deep-rooted traditions. According to club officials, the project represents a “stunning transformation come to life,” delivering a fresh, vibrant aesthetic designed to elevate the experience for both longtime members and the wider public.

A Fresh New Look Meets Community Tradition

The centerpiece of the multi-million-dollar renovation is the brand-new Parklands Bar Cafe & Eatery. Designed to serve as a welcoming community hub, the establishment offers relaxed dining options ranging from casual brunches to evening drinks.

The interior features contemporary furnishings, clean lines, and an expansive layout tailored for comfort. Transitioning seamlessly from the indoors, guests can step onto an expansive new decking area specifically designed for fine dining and entertaining.

“Members and guests can now experience a fresh new look, blending modern comfort with club tradition,” the club shared in its announcement. “[They can] enjoy fine dining overlooking breathtaking views of the opening holes.”

Broadening Horizons Beyond Golf

The redevelopment signals a strategic shift for the club, transforming it from a traditional sports venue into an all-inclusive “country club” style facility. Positioned overlooking the club’s rolling green fairways, the upgraded deck and dining spaces are fully open to the public, requiring no formal golf membership to visit.

With its sprawling panoramic views of the opening holes, the club aims to attract residents, families, and social groups looking for premium hospitality in a unique setting.

The completion of this $2.5 million refurbishment ensures that the Pukekohe Golf Club will remain a vital social and recreational cornerstone for the region for years to come.
