Australia and New Zealands’s best awarded at World Golf Awards
The 5th World Golf Awards ceremony was held on the evening of Saturday November 3rd at La Manga Club in Spain, and saw the world’s leading golf courses being recognized for their excellence in golf tourism.
The 2018 World Golf Awards proved to be a truly global gathering of the golf tourism industry, with pioneers, influencers and leading figureheads from 43 nations in attendance. The award ceremony marked the pinnacle of a three-day event that included golf on La Manga Club’s West Course and South Course.

Kingston Heath Golf Club in Melbourne won Australia’s Best Golf Course 2018. Other nominees in the category included Brookwater Golf & Country Club, Peregian Springs Golf Club and Royal Adelaide. Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort was given the accolade of Australia’s Best Golf Hotel 2018.
The award for best Australian Inbound and Outbound Golf Tour Operator was given to Go Golfing Travel and CGE Golf respectively.
Clearwater Golf Course was elected New Zealand’s Best Golf Course 2018 and New Zealand’s Best Golf Hotel 2018 was awarded Kauri Cliffs.
New Zealand’s Best Inbound and Outbound Golf Tour Operator 2018 was given to Playing Around New Zealand and PaR nz Golfing Holidays.
