Club Car & GMA announce new partnership

POSTED ON May 13, 2019 @ 8:52 pm

Club Car is celebrating its renewed and expanded partnership with GMA – and members have the chance to win. The team at Club Car is presenting the “GMA Member Early Bird Competition” for the 2019 GMA National Conference.

GMA is delighted to announce the formalisation of a significant partnership between Club Car and GMA, which will see Club Car become an ‘Elite’ Partner of GMA under the new national management model.

Club Car has been a significant supporter of GMA nationally for many years and have also been heavily involved with GMA New South Wales, GMA Queensland and GMA South Australia.

While Club Car is renowned for its long term support of the broader golf industry, the GMA presence will be more pervasive than ever before. The relationship encompasses GMA State Golf Days, the GMA National Conference (including the Club Car Welcome Reception) and a presence at GMA State Mini Conferences.

The first order of business is the GMA member Early Bird Competition which will see our lucky winner spending two nights in luxury on Hamilton Island (see below for full details).

Club Car is the world’s leading manufacturer of lightweight golf and utility vehicles. With a 60 year tradition in producing our industry’s finest golf carts supported by the country’s largest distribution network.

Club Car Vice President (Oceania), Kevin Gates who has lead the operations in our part of the world for over twenty years, said “We are all delighted to not only maintain our partnership with GMA but to expand it significantly.  We enjoy wonderful professional and personal relationships with GMA Members across the country, and we are planning on working more closely with each of them to enhance customer experiences and increase the profitability of member courses. In this day and age that extends way beyond the supply of carts to include GPS, marketing and maintenance support and training.”

GMA Executive Officer Jim Cail indicated “the support of Kevin Gates and the Club Car distribution team across Australia was a critical component for GMA’s movement towards a national GMA management model.  GMA is grateful for the vision and support Kevin has provided over the past 12 months and his amazing commitment to ensure not only GMA, but the game of golf and golf clubs in general are put first and continue to thrive”.

“GMA is thrilled to have Club Car come on board as an elite level partner, particularly given their influence across the golf club landscape, their innovation regarding golf cart technology, their standard of product, and their support of the wider golfing industry.  We look forward to continuing the outstanding relationship we’ve had with them for many years”, said Mr Cail.
