EOI: Gold Coast based BZ Optics seeking distributor

POSTED ON April 5, 2024 @ 4:28 pm

BZ Optics the Gold Coast-based sunglass company has developed a range of sunglasses ideal for the golfer.

BZ is currently seeking a distributor in the Golf Market in Australia and NZ or a joint venture worldwide.

About product

The super lightweight wrap frames offer great protection from glare and wind while offering a range of lens options that have never been released before onto the golfing market.

BZ’s PHO frame features an adjustable nonslip nose piece (6 out of 10 Aussies have had a broken nose and glasses normally sit right when there is a bump on the nose). The adjustable nose makes it comfortable to wear for everyone and the frame can be made to sit in the optimum position while playing golf. (higher or lower). The frame also features nonslip temples so even on the hottest or most humid of days the glasses stay in place. Complete the glasses weighing 26.5 GMS.

BZ offers a range of photochromic and polarised lenses:

  • The photochromic lens adjusts to UV so they are clear (Cat O) in no or very low light but then darken to grey (Cat3) in full UV and sun. Cat3 is around 75% dark or the normal sunglass rating.

We offer this with or without small moulded magnification in the base of the lens.

  • “The game changer” -High Definition Photochromic. This lens adjusts from light copper (Cat1) in low light or shade and will darken to Brown (Cat3). The HD lens heightens vision and contrast so that balls in leaf litter or in the shade of a tree are easier to see. This lens is also available fitted with or without small readers in the base of the lens.
  • The polarisation cuts down reflective glare when out in the elements while playing. The lens colour is a HD Brown which adds to clearer crisper vision. The polarisation is also great for driving and fishing. This lens is also available fitted with or without small readers in the base.
  • World First” Polarised Photochromic with small readers in the base of the lens – we are the only company in the world offering this lens. It has the glare protection of polarised lenses, and the lens colour adjustment associated with photochromic (lens adjusts from (Cat1) about 10% dark to dark grey (Cat3) 75% dark.

All of our magnified lenses are available in +1.50, +2.00 or +2.50 powers.

Other options are:

  • Mirrored lenses are available in blue, green, gold or red. We also have the blue mirror available with readers in the base. Ideal for those guys who don’t wish for their mates to know they wear glasses to read.

Last year BZ introduced two other new styles – the LJM – which is 8mm narrower than the PHO so it suits women and teenage face shapes. The LJM is available in a range of the above lenses.

We also introduced the Urban – more of a standard sunglass shape which is available in blue mirror, grey or Photochromic which transitions from light copper to dark brown.

BZ are currently seeking a distributor in the Golf Market in Australia and NZ or a joint venture worldwide.
