Gemmill Appointed as New General Manager, Bribie Island GC
The Board of Directors is thrilled to announce the appointment of Paul Gemmill as the new General Manager of Bribie Island Golf Club, effective mid-September.
Paul brings over two decades of senior executive experience across top-tier golf resorts, hospitality venues, and major sports organization social facilities. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer at Club Tocumwal for over six and a half years (2020–2026), where he led a major modernisation of clubhouse facilities, revitalized revenue through innovative marketing and gaming initiatives, and fostered an outstanding team culture.
Paul and his family are relocating to Queensland to begin this exciting new chapter with the club.

- Club Tocumwal (CEO, 2020–2026): Oversaw significant facility upgrades, expanded visiting golfer recruitment, and strengthened community engagement.
- Rich River Golf Club Resort (Food & Beverage Manager, 2018–2020): Managed high-volume resort dining, events, and club hospitality operations.
- Hospitality Entrepreneurship (Owner, 2005–2021): Built and operated successful regional hospitality ventures, including The Beach Café & Ku De Ta and the Royal Victoria Hotel Cobram.
