GSM Hands Over Management Of Peregian Golf Course After 7 Years

POSTED ON May 11, 2023 @ 3:29 pm

“After what has been an incredible 7 years managing Peregian Golf Course, GSM Peregian Golf will be passing the baton to Chateraise (Lakelands Golf Club)”, announced the golf management company in a recent media release.

“Their recent purchase of the golf course means that they will assume management and full operation of the venue, effective October 15th 2023.

In 2016, the Peregian Springs Golf Club ceased operating as a private golf club after years of significant losses, the course was closed with all assets and machinery sold off. Through the hard work and dedication of our team, GSM turned things around and established a sustainable business model. As we now pass management on to Chateraise, we are confident that Peregian is well-positioned to continue thriving as a golf course well in to the future.

GSM to take a moment to thank every one of our Patrons, Pass Holders, Ambassadors, Corporate Partners, our amazing staff and the entire Peregian Springs Community for making our tenure managing the venue such a great success.

Peregian Golf Course isn’t just a golf course; it’s the heart and soul of the Peregian community. For GSM, it has been a great privilege to be the custodian of this wonderful venue for the past 7 years.

GSM’s management team are committed to ensuring the transition is as smooth as possible for all parties. We will be working closely with Lakelands to ensure the high standard of customer experience our patrons have come to expect is maintained during handover.

We greatly appreciate Chateraise commitment to ensuring all of Peregian’s operational and maintenance team members retain their employment under the management of the new owners.

GSM will continue to provide first class golfing experiences at the venue until October 15th 2023. Thank you for a wonderful 7 years!”
