JOB: Administration Accounts/Payroll Clerk – McLeod Country Golf Club
*Permanent Part Time 32 Hours Week (Tuesday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm)
About
McLeod Country Golf club is an 18 hole championship golf course located in Mount Ommaney, Brisbane.
The Club has 900 golf and club house members with facilities including bar, kitchen, gaming and function room. McLeod Country Golf Club is looking for a permanent part-time Administration Accounts & Payroll Officer to become an integral component of the Administration team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for weekly accounting and payroll services and working with the clubs external CFO to produce all month-end related procedures. Other duties will include providing general administrative support to the General Manager.
Relevant Duties
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Daily Banking and recording of revenue with Swiftpos
- Bank reconciliations & Daily Float reconciliations
- Accounts receivable/payable
- Processing weekly pay cycle Wednesday to Tuesday with Tanda
- Assisting External CFO with Month End reports and processing
- Month End stocktaking with Operations Manager
- BAS & Activity Statement processing
- Assisting External CFO with access to provide financial statements for the Board of Directors
- Administration duties, including answering phones, data entry and filing
- POS Swiftpos Entry & COG Entry for Stock Control
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have proven high level book keeping skills as well as:
- Communicate with the External CFO to provide accurate and timely financials
- Experience with Xero and Hubdoc is required
- High Level of proficiency in Excel
- Swiftpos POS operations are an advantage
- Tanda Payroll knowledge and operations an advantage
- Positive, proactive approach to duties, workload and planning with strong attention to detail.
- Basic golf knowledge would benefit the candidate.
- Experience in MiClub is desirable
