The Role

We are seeking an Assistant Course Superintendent (2IC) to join our dedicated turf team. Reporting to the Course Superintendent, you will play a hands-on leadership role in presenting the course at its best every day. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading daily course setup and team scheduling
• Monitoring turf moisture and plant health, including irrigation scheduling and repairs
• Applying and accurately recording chemical and fertiliser programs
• Operating the course machinery and training team members
• Assisting with small projects, renovations, and contributing to Work Health & Safety initiatives

You’ll Bring

• Certificate III (minimum) in Sports Turf Management and ChemCert
• Strong irrigation troubleshooting skills (central control platform experience highly regarded)
• Practical leadership and communication skills, with a focus on safety and standards
• A valid driver’s licence, plus flexibility for early starts and rostered weekend coverage
