JOB: Box Hill Golf Club – Operations Manager

Apply your demonstrated leadership, hospitality experience, and excellent management and organisational skills, to lead the hospitality operations of Box Hill Golf Club.
Box Hill Golf Club, situated in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, is a vibrant club providing golf, hospitality, and social experiences to its valued members, and nearby local community. Its modern facilities including an 18-hole golf course, two function rooms, members lounge, bistro (open 6 days a week), and golf shop. It is an active club, with clubhouse operating hours until 11.30pm each day.
We are now seeking a new Operations Manager to lead the hospitality and clubhouse operations.
Your priorities will be to lead, support and develop a high-performing hospitality service team; ensure the efficient and effective operation of all hospitality operations, with an emphasis on continuous improvement; and deliver memorable member and visitor experiences.
To be considered for the role you are likely to possess the following attributes:
- Demonstrated leadership, with a focus on delivering great hospitality experiences by a high-performing service team.
- Experience within a busy hospitality venue, including functions, events, and maybe gaming.
- Excellent management and organisational skills with a willingness and versatility to work collaboratively with the general manager, and senior management team.
It is essential that you are a friendly, independent and a highly motivated person with good communication and personal skills that match the club’s culture.
A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate, commensurate with the role and your credentials.
