JOB: Communications Coordinator – MiClub Services

MiClub is Australia’s most trusted provider of golf and club management software solutions.

Our cloud-based product suite is used by over 900 1Win clients nationally, ranging from social clubs and smaller regional golf courses through to the majority of Australia’s premier golf clubs and other major sporting and membership-based facilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the National Account Manager, you’ll work closely with MiClub’s Marketing Manager to implement a diverse range of marketing initiatives, internal staff communications and the design and implementation of all product materials for both internal staff and external clients.

The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing communication strategies that enhance our brand presence and effectively engage our audience. This role involves creating compelling content, coordinating media relations, managing social media platforms, and supporting internal and external communications efforts.

This is a full-time position (Mon-Fri), located Bayside/South East.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Communications

  • Support internal communications by creating newsletters, emails, and announcements, updating Employee Hub and Intranet.
  • Develop and deliver internal communications training programs to all staff, including new staff inductions
  • Assist with internal communications activities including events and campaigns.
  • Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, work with internal staff and external communications contractors and suppliers for photography, print, design, web, social media, and PR services as required by the MiClub marketing plan.
  • Maintain all client contact records in ZOHO CRM

External Communications:

  • Develop and implement communication strategies to promote brand awareness and engagement in our products.
  • Liaise with department team leaders (or nominated department communication leads) to source regular content related to all product development, enhancement requests or support.
  • Create and distribute content across various channels, including website, social media, and newsletters.
  • Manage social media accounts by monitoring engagement, and analysing performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials, presentations, and reports.
  • Assist in event planning and promotional activities.
  • Facilitate and promote an annual calendar of online training seminars for external clients.
  • Other administrative duties as required.

ABOUT YOU

  • Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and consistency in branding and marketing materials
  • Proficient in design and marketing software (ZOHO CRM, WordPress, Adobe Design Suite, Canva)
  • Self-motivated, and able to drive initiatives forward with minimal supervision
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to shift between tasks and priorities quickly
  • Ability to acquire relevant knowledge of MiClub’s cloud-based software products

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 years of marketing experience
  • Understanding of the digital landscape, especially social media
  • Experience in golf or the sports industry is a plus but not essential

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, communications, visual communications, or a related field

A salary package is negotiable, and commensurate with experience.

The successful applicant is required to have permanent Australian work rights, a current Australian driver’s license and their own reliable transport.
