About

Bendigo Golf Club, established in 1901, is an 18-hole championship golf course located just 10 minutes north of Bendigo’s CBD. The Club is undergoing an exciting phase of growth, with a newly completed 15-bay Driving Range, and construction of a 72-bay Cart Shed, and future plans to further develop our Practice Facilities.

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Course Superintendent to lead all aspects of golf course maintenance and operations. This leadership role reports to the General Manager and Board and will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the course presentation and playability, while contributing to the broader strategic goals of the Club.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all golf course operations and staff.
• Provide expert advice to the General Manager and Board on course condition, maintenance, and capital planning.
• Oversee turf management, irrigation systems, and environmental management practices.
• Engage positively with members, guests, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and operational standards.

About You

• Strong experience in golf course management and turf maintenance.
• Leadership capability with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A willingness to be involved in a variety of daily tasks beyond course management.

Qualifications & Requirements (or willingness to obtain):

• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Bobcat Licence and Chemical User Certificate.
• First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check.
• Heavy Vehicle Licence (desirable but not essential).
