Margaret River Golf Club is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Course Superintendent to lead the management and maintenance of our championship 18-hole golf course. Located in one of Australia’s premier wine and tourism regions, the Club has a proud history and a growing membership base, offering an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the course maintenance team.
• Plan, schedule and oversee all turf management, irrigation, and maintenance programs.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality playing surfaces to meet member and guest expectations.
• Manage budgets, purchasing, and reporting for course maintenance operations.
• Ensure compliance with all workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Provide agronomic advice and input into course improvement projects and long-term planning.

Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will ideally possess:

• A recognised qualification in turf management (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a leadership role within golf course management.
• Strong agronomic knowledge and practical experience in managing cool season and warm season turfgrasses.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Sound knowledge of irrigation systems and course machinery maintenance.
• A current ChemCert accreditation and driver’s licence.
