Pacific Harbour Golf & Country Club is seeking to appoint a Golf Operations Attendant to assist the Golf Operation Manager in providing excellent service to Members and visitors alike.

PHGCC is located on Bribie Island, a beautiful beachside location with nearby access to greater Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Working in the golf department, across a seven-day week, this exciting opportunity allows the successful candidate to create fantastic customer service for our members and public patrons alike.

The Club is an 18-hole facility with 2 putting greens, an aquatic driving range, and a modern clubhouse. Golf Digest rated PHGCC among the top 100 courses in Australia in 2024 and 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with member and visitor enquiries.
• Provide daily Pro shop duties, such as answering phone calls, receiving and replying to email enquiries & retail sales.
• Assist with competition management.
• Assist the Golf Operation Manager with necessary administrative set-up and preparation for Club events as directed.
• Assist with daily range ball collection and cart management as required.
• Be available to work a variety of shifts over a 7-day roster with weekend work being essential.

Personal Attributes / Skills:

• Ability to attain and deliver excellent customer service.
• Prompt and team-orientated mentality.
• Possesses integrity and exudes a welcoming personality.
• Understand golf operations (avid golfer is an advantage)
• Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience and proficiency with golf management systems and varied programs, or the ability to attain.
• Possess a team player mindset.

The successful candidate will be offered a position, based on their qualifications/experience, in a casual capacity of 18 to 25 hours per week, with the potential of increased offerings to the right individual.
