Leishman Lager to go national with Walkinshaw promo partnership

Marc Leishman and his brand Leishman Lager have partnered with leading golf distributor Walkinshaw Sports to promote their beer within the Australian golf industry.

Leishman Lager launched Australia’s first golf beer at the President’s Cup in 2019 and has gained a strong following of golfers throughout 2020.

Having now partnered with Walkinshaw Sports, the brand is in a strong position to make the product available and accessible to golfers and golf clubs across the country.

National approach

Leishman Lager’s founder and World Number 21 golfer Marc Leishman said “We are extremely excited to have partnered with the Walkinshaw Sports team who are respected as one of Australia’s largest golf distributors.

It is exciting that golfers nationally will soon be able to able to enjoy a cold Leishman Lager at their golf club after a round.”

Walkinshaw Sports who distribute a significant portfolio of leading golf brands such as Under Armour, Clicgear, Motocaddy, AFL, and NRL, have a significant footprint in the Australian golf industry including a 10 person national sales team who are supported by 4 customer services staff and a strong head office marketing and account management team.

Over 1000 venues

The partnership will give Walkinshaw’s network of over 1000 golf venues across Australia access to Australia’s first golf beer which is great news for all golf clubs and golfers.

Leading alcohol distributors ALM and Paramount will manage the distribution and logistics.

Leishman Lager is a crisp and clean tasting Australian lager made from the freshest of hops, barley and water, handcrafted by Australians in Australia. It is a true Australian Lager created for on and off the golf course.

The brand also proudly supports Marc’s Begin Again Foundation & Warrnambool’s Leila Rose Foundation.

Walkinshaw Sport’s and Leishman Lager will be running an Expression’s of interest promotion through September where the winner will receive 20 cases of Leishman Lager.
