Rolex Deepens Commitment to Australian Golf with Major New Partnerships

POSTED ON September 23, 2025 @ 11:44 am

Rolex has announced a significant expansion of its support for Australian golf, forging a new five-year partnership with Golf Australia and an expanded Premier Partnership with the PGA of Australia.

The new agreement with Golf Australia will make Rolex a key partner of the men’s and women’s Australian Opens. Concurrently, the strengthened collaboration with the PGA of Australia now includes the Australian WPGA Championship, solidifying Rolex’s presence across all four of Australia’s major professional golf tournaments.

A Shared Commitment to Excellence

Rolex’s ongoing commitment to the sport is further highlighted by its continued role as the Official Timekeeper for the BMW Australian PGA Championship and a Major Partner of both the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia and the WPGA Tour of Australasia.

As the season approaches, the iconic Rolex clock will be a prominent feature beside the first tee at the BMW Australian PGA Championship (November 27-30) and the men’s Australian Open (December 4-7).

Commenting on the new partnerships, Rolex Australia General Manager Benoit Falletti stated, “Golf embodies values Rolex holds dear—respect for tradition, precision, perseverance, and sporting excellence. We are honored to continue this journey with Golf Australia, the PGA of Australia, and the WPGA.”

James Sutherland, CEO of Golf Australia, echoed these sentiments, saying, “Rolex has been synonymous with excellence, tradition, and innovation in golf for decades. We are proud to welcome Rolex as a partner of Golf Australia and know that their generous commitment will further elevate Australia’s major men’s and women’s tournaments.”

“We’re delighted that Rolex’s partnership with Australian golf now encompasses all four of our major events,” added Gavin Kirkman, CEO of the PGA of Australia. “Rolex is a tremendous supporter of our game worldwide, and it’s exciting for all of us that their commitment to golf in our region continues to grow.”

A Global Legacy in Golf

This expanded partnership will enhance the delivery of tournaments, improve the experience for both players and fans, and continue to elevate Australia’s standing in the global golfing community.

Rolex’s rich heritage in golf includes long-standing partnerships with prestigious tournaments, tours, and governing bodies worldwide, such as The Open, the Masters Tournament, the PGA TOUR, The Ryder Cup, the DP World Tour, and the Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. The brand also supports a distinguished roster of golf legends and modern greats, including Australian stars Adam Scott and Jason Day.
