The 2016 Gregg and Norm Roadshow coming to Australia and New Zealand
Golf Industry Central is very pleased to announce that Gregg Patterson and Norm Spitzig are bringing their first ever joint presentation, Universal Life Lessons Learned in the Wonderful World of Private Golf Clubs, to Australia and New Zealand the week of May 9–15, 2016.
This “hands on”, highly interactive and very entertaining four-hour workshop, which has already received numerous rave reviews all around the United States, offers practical, useful information that can be immediately implemented in everyone’s professional and personal lives. Gregg and Norm use their lifelong experience in, and love for, the private golf club world as the springboard to ruminate about the deeper, fundamentally important philosophical issues we all face–meaningful, humorous, poignant insights that apply to all walks of life.
Both golf club managers and golf club officers are strongly encouraged to attend, and to bring their fellow members and staff to this presentation. Not only will all attendees thoroughly enjoy themselves, but everyone will gain a deeper appreciation of all that it takes to successfully govern and manage a great private golf club. You are strongly encouraged to confirm your participation as soon as possible because, in the interest of keeping each session small, intimate and productive, space is limited.
In addition to the actual workshop materials (e.g., the “Club Workshop Primer”, featuring many thoughtful “focus questions” designed to maximize participant “take away”), all attendees will receive the following:
· a welcome lunch upon arrival
· Gregg’s recently compiled Club Management Anthology (the “best of the best” of Gregg’s extensive writings),
· a hard copy of Norm’s golf club humor classic Private Clubs in America and around the World,
· the opportunity to sign up, on a first come, first served basis, for a limited number of one-on-one half-hour mentorships with Gregg or Norm, and
· an e-mail summary of all the great ideas that were generated, by both the participants and Gregg and Norm, during the workshop, (There’s no need for you to take notes. Just learn, participate and have fun!).
If there is a better way to spend $99, I surely don’t know what it is!
While the specific locations, details and format for the day will be finalized once sufficient interest is confirmed, we envision, for your planning purposes, a midday arrival with a wrap-up around 5:00 p.m.
Please let me know as soon as you can if you would like to attend what I know will be fantastic day of good camaraderie, useful information and great fun.
If you have any interest in possibly attending one of these events or other feedback, please drop me a line at mike@golfindustrycentral.com.au.
