Wembley Golf Course Appoints Martino as General Manager
Wembley Golf Course is thrilled to announce the appointment of Nicole Martino, PGA, CCM, as its new General Manager. A highly respected figure in the golfing community, Martino returns to Wembley bringing sixteen years of experience as a PGA Professional and a proven track record of excellence in club management.
A Career Defined by Excellence and Leadership
Martino joins Wembley Golf Course following a successful four-year tenure as Golf Manager at The Western Australian Golf Club. Her extensive professional background also includes serving as Operations Manager at Golf Management Australia and spending six years at Marangaroo Golf Course.
In a historic move for the industry, Martino was recently voted onto the PGA of Australia Vocational Members Council, becoming one of the first women to achieve this significant milestone. Her leadership was further recognized when she was named the 2023 WA PGA Management Professional of the Year.
From the Professional Tour to Executive Management
Martino’s deep understanding of the sport is rooted in her early career as a touring professional on the ALPG and Ladies Asian Golf Tour. Choosing to pivot into golf management, she completed a PGA traineeship and has since bolstered her executive credentials with:
- A Bachelor of Business majoring in Sport Management.
- Completion of the Club Management Association of America BMI Program.
- The prestigious designation of Certified Club Manager (CCM).
