Mike Space Summer 2017

POSTED ON December 13, 2017 @ 7:36 am

We are now only a few short weeks away from Christmas and on the very last stretch of the year 2017. Looking back on the year that has past it has been a big one for Golf Industry Central as well as for the Aussie golf industry in general. I hope as many of you as possible got the chance to enjoy some excellent industry events this year and are planning to attend as many as you can in 2018.

A highlight for me this year was attending the 2017 GMA National Conference down in Adelaide in early October. Golf Industry Central was a proud Media Partner once again for this outstanding event which offered up some excellent networking opportunities and some world class speakers.

Next year will be another busy travel year, we are media partners again for the 2018 Golf Business Forum in Melbourne in July. As well, I head over to New Zealand for the combined 8th Biennial GMANZ Conference and BMI International Course.

Make sure you save the dates for both these upcoming events!

We are also looking forward to bringing back our friends Gregg Patterson and Norm Spitzig onto Australian soil for another GREGG NORMAN ROADSHOW across the region in July. Another possible return will be the guru of pace of play, Bill Yates, to assist clubs with one of the bigger issues in our industry – slow play.

Enriched with all the valuable takeaways from the GMA Conference and further insights from the recent PGA Expo I attended on the Sunshine Coast earlier this year, I feel pumped to head into the new year of 2018 and put all that I’ve experienced into practice and share with my various clients around Australia and New Zealand.

Please feel free to drop me a line or call if you ever need any marketing and/or recruitment assistance on what you may be undertaking at your facility or business. Also if any interest in our roadshows as we are seeking a few new opportunities to “spread the love”.

Until then, from all of us here at Golf Industry Central, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Take care of yourself during the holidays and enjoy the warmer weather out on the course. Catch you all next year!

PS: Some new, exciting initiatives on the table to be launched in 2018!
