MSL Solutions announces partnership with SOGO Sports to create scoring app for golfers

POSTED ON October 31, 2020 @ 10:16 am

MSL has signed a partnership agreement with Sogo Sports (SOGO) to provide a mobile scoring application to clubs using MSL’s leading cloud based golf management system – PPG.

Following changes to the rules of golf that allow the submission of digital scores, this partnership will deliver a native mobile scoring experience on both iOS and Android, for club members to enter their competition scores. SOGO has developed an engaging competition platform that enables golfers to compete anywhere, anytime and make every round count. The partnership will deliver a best in class mobile app to enhance golfers’ on-course experience.

The MSL Scoring App will be fully integrated into PPG and provide a seamless experience for members to submit their competition scores. Additionally, golfers and clubs will have the opportunity to engage with SOGO’s wider competition and leaderboard events.

The partnership will also allow for MSL and SOGO to collaborate on providing technology solutions to the wider golf market. With approximately half of the 1,500 golf courses in Australia being small volunteer run facilities there is a need to provide innovative solutions to enhance the experience and provide ease of administration for those clubs.

MSL Solutions General Manager of Golf and Strategic Partnerships Nick Thornton said:
“We are very excited to partner with SOGO. We have known the team there for quite a while and watched with interest the development of their platform.
