Clublinks has been appointed to manage the soon to be completed Minnippi Golf Course (MGC) in Cannon Hill, Brisbane. As Brisbane’s first new public golf course in 70 years, MGC serves as a wonderful opportunity to create a unique golf and entertainment hub. The Minnippi Golf Course is our first venture into the “Sunshine State” and we are keen to assemble a Brisbane based kick arse team that will grow with us and launch, operate, and evolve this public access facility.

This dynamic and multi-faceted role is an amazing opportunity for a candidate with a passion for sport and recreation to be involved in a building a business from scratch. A truly public course and community asset for all, this role will be integral to leading activations and events to build the customer base and welcome the community to the Minnippi Golf Course.
With a dual reporting relationship to the National Marketing Manager (who is based in Melbourne) and the newly appointed General Manager of the Minnippi Golf course, this hands-on role will commence in March 2023.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Plan, develop and execute marketing campaigns and associated collateral
- Plan, coordinate and execute social, sporting, community, and corporate events
- Website development, copywriting of content and maintenance along with our digital agency partner
- Social media management including content capture, posting and monitoring for performance
- Campaign execution including calculating projected ROI and reporting on performance
- Brand development and working closely with graphic designers to maintain brand integrity
- Front facing customer service, sales and managing incoming enquiries

About you
You will have:
- Relevant qualifications in marketing and/or event management
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a marketing or event-based role within the hospitality or sport & recreation industry
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong organisational and time management skills allowing you to juggle your time effectively and keep lots of plates spinning at any one time
- Love variety in your day (from a golf buggy ride out to the 4th tee or designing the back end of a website this role will have it all)
- Proven ability to work and perform in an agile way
- The ability to be flexible with your hours and be at the site during peak times and events (this may include early starts, nights or weekends)
- Exceptional stakeholder management, relationship building and networking skills
- Passion for business development
