Golf lifestyle label partners with iconic Australian fashion house to release limited-edition golf apparel

POSTED ON July 31, 2022 @ 10:32 pm

Birds of Condor is known for making moves in the alternative golf-fashion world with an edgy aesthetic across their headwear, apparel and accessories ranges.

COOGI is famous for its vibrant color palette, luxury knits and ties to vintage hip-hop and streetwear. Together, the partnership speaks volumes about the resurgence of golf to an aspiring golf community.

According to the USA’s National Golf Federation, golf participation rates both on course and off course (driving ranges, golf simulators and indoor golf venues such as Topgolf) have increased by 600,000 to 37.5 million in 2021, up 2%.[1] As golf’s demographics continue to evolve, there is clearly a new generation joining the sport, and with that change comes the evolution of golf apparel.

Enter COOGI and Birds of Condor: a collaboration created to dress the players of a global sport moving into a realm of inclusivity and embracing a stylish new era.

“Art, music and good times are the core ingredients of everything we do here at Birds. It is so cool to join forces with an OG Aussie fashion brand, referenced in lyrics and worn by some of our heroes from the American hip-hop scene. We’re proud to bring that vibe to the game of golf,” says Frankie Kimpton, Birds of Condor Founder & Creative Director.

The limited-edition collaboration, available exclusively through Birds of Condor, features a timeless trademark COOGI print across some crowd-favorite Birds of Condor styles. With 100% organic cotton and 100% recycled polyester, this collection is built with premium-quality, moisture-wicking, fast-drying performance materials.

Technical and environmental considerations are incorporated across each piece of the capsule — all of which can be paired back to the Birds of Condor Summer Collection, available online directly via birdsofcondor.com.
