Townsville Golf Club is an 18-hole private membership golf course in Townsville, the oldest golf club in Queensland.
About the business
Townsville Golf Club is the leader in the QLD regional golf industry. Supporting the community and providing excellent playing conditions for its members, guests and residents. The golf club is currently halfway through a redevelopment of the 18 hole course.
About the role
The Superintendent will oversee the maintenance and development of the course at Townsville Golf Club reporting to the General Manager. The applicant applying for this role should have experience in all aspects of turf management and maintenance with a strong leadership background. The position will suit and self-starting individual with care to the smaller details needed to complete the role. The successful applicant will guide a team to produce excellent experiences for members, guests and staff.

- Extensive horticulture and turf knowledge
- Management theory
- Pesticide, fertiliser and herbicide practices
- Course Design, construction and maintenance theory

Minimum Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Horticulture or higher
- Current ACDC Certification
- Hold & maintain Australian driver’s licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
