Twin Creeks announces new GM

POSTED ON July 13, 2009 @ 10:00 am

Australia’s leading golf course management company Troon Golf is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Selley to the role of general manager at Sydney’s number one residential golf course, Twin Creeks Golf & Country Club.

With a long and diverse career in the golf industry, Rob will bring a range of experience to his role as general manager where he will look after all club operations.

Most recently the managing director of Prestige Brands in Brisbane, Rob’s resume includes management roles at courses across the world including clubs in South Africa and Kuala Lumpur.

He has also had the privilege of working at Augusta National in 2007 during The Masters.

Managing Director & Senior Vice President of Troon Golf Australia, Ryan Walls, said the appointment was a great coup for not only for Twin Creeks but for Troon Golf.

“I am pleased that Troon Golf has been able to attract another industry leader to support and guide our team at Twin Creeks Golf & Country,” he said.

“Rob’s history of managing high-end private and resort facilities across the world will be an ideal fit to continue the growth Twin Creeks has experienced since opening in 2006.

“I have no doubt that Twin Creeks will continue to be regarded as the private club of choice in the greater Sydney region under Rob’s management”.

Twin Creeks Golf & Country Club is one of New South Wales’ leading private golf clubs incorporating a Graham Marsh designed 18-hole championship course.  It is located at Luddenham, just 45 minutes from Sydney’s CBD.

The Club is managed by Troon Golf, the recognised leader in upscale golf course management and development around the world.  The company currently manages courses in 26 countries including the USA, Scotland, Japan, Mexico and the Bahamas.
