SEEK: Bar Manager – Nudgee GC (Brisbane)
Nudgee Golf Club is now seeking a dedicated, customer-focused professional to join and lead the team in
the important role of Bar Manager located on the Northside of Brisbane. This is, without doubt, an amazing
career opportunity for the right person as the position will provide exposure to all areas of the venue
including Food & Beverage, Gaming, Seminars & Functions as well as our Golf Courses.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This position will report directly to the General Manager and will primarily be responsible for the day to day
running of shifts. The successful applicant will have the desire to be an efficient leader. Duties will include, but
are not limited to:
- Ensuring the smooth & efficient running of the day to day operations
- Ensuring compliance with the QLD Liquor Act, Food Act and Gaming Regulations
- Attending to all customer requirements
- Assisting with recruiting, coaching and training of staff
- Organising & Coordinating of staff rosters
- Ensure continuous improvement of Nudgee Golf Club Service Delivery Standards
- Developing a good rapport with Club members & guests
- Accountability for all stock, money and infrastructure
- Manage all business aspects of the bar, such as keeping all records up to date, wage cost control, product
selection to maximise profits while fitting with our specific cliental.
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar hospitality role
- An ability to lead and supervise the daily operations
- Understanding of club operations & possess a “hands on” approach
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent problem solving & decision making skills
- Superior customer service & immaculate grooming & presentation
- A good practical knowledge of safe WPH&S practices
- Excellent employment history and reliability
- Full availability (days, nights, weekends & public holidays)
- RSA & RSG & RMLV certification (current)
