OUR CLUB
Whitsunday Green Club Limited (our ‘Club’) operates the busy new Par 3, 9 hole golf course, driving range, and licensed Clubhouse Café. Situated in Cannon Valley, on the edge of the popular tourism focussed Airlie Beach – the gateway to the famous Whitsunday Islands – this is a fantastic opportunity for a sea change in paradise.
Whitsunday Green Club is offering a unique opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic Golf Pro to become a key member of our ‘Green Team’.
We are searching for a confident, honest and highly motivated Golf Pro that is capable of teaching golfers of all ages and abilities. Ideally, you will be well presented with great people and communication skills as your role will also be to promote Golf at Whitsunday Green and assist in the day-to-day operations of the Club.
This is a full-time position with a negotiable salary package.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Golf Pro will be responsible for all aspects of the Club’s golf operations and promotions. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Golf Lessons;
- Actively driving new business through promotions, events, and new initiatives;
- Providing club services including course bookings, collecting green fees, selling golf-related merchandise, issuing hire equipment, and overseeing a mobile beverage and snack service on the golf course;
- Ensuring compliance with the Club policies relating to the course, and anything else reasonably required by senior management.
