Lonsdale Links is in an exciting period of transition with a new 18-hole golf course and clubhouse due to open in December 2020. Renowned architects Ogilvy Cocking & Mead are confident that the new course will be well entrenched in the Top 100 Courses in Australia. The new clubhouse designed by Wood Marsh is also set to become a central hub for the community of Point Lonsdale and a high-quality experience for people travelling to the Bellarine. Practice facilities include two putting greens, short game green and all grass practice range (which also converts into a 6 hole Par 3 course).

This is a contractor position. There is also scope for casual employment in the Golf Operations team to supplement teaching hours.

Passionate about golf, teaching and delivering a great member experience.

Willing to develop and deliver learn to play golf programs for a diverse range of groups including juniors and women.

And must be able to demonstrate:

A proven record of delivering excellent customer service in a similar Club environment
An intimate knowledge of the latest state of the art golf teaching technology
Experience in delivering club fitting services and advice
Excellent communication skills and personal presentation
Literacy in key IT systems utilised within a golf club environment

Please note that it’s an essential requirement to have a current Working with Children Check as well as a current First Aid Certificate.

The Teaching Professional role is key in developing and delivering the learn to play programs, individual lesson programs and clubfitting. Collaboration for developing programs with the Director of Golf will be required.
