The Eastern Golf Club is a private members’ Club set in the stunning Yarra Valle,y offering members and guests a top-tier dining experience. Similarly, the Club boasts a function room catering to small conferences to corporate events and weddings. We are seeking a talented and motivated Head Chef to lead the kitchen at our newly rebuilt Clubhouse, offering a rare opportunity to shape the future of food service in a stunning new facility.
You will be responsible for developing your own kitchen team, designing seasonal menus, and take full ownership of a brand-new, state-of-the-art kitchen at one of the region’s premier golf clubs.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee all kitchen operations in our brand-new clubhouse kitchen
- Recruit, train, and mentor the kitchen team
- Design and deliver a fresh, modern menu for members, guests, functions, and events
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Work closely with management to drive member satisfaction and food & beverage success
What You Bring:
- Proven Head Chef or Senior Sous experience
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Creative, seasonal approach to menu design
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management
- A hands-on attitude and genuine passion for hospitality
