Whaleback Golf Course Undergoes Major Transformation

POSTED ON November 13, 2025 @ 5:28 pm

Whaleback Golf Course has announced an exciting array of facility upgrades currently underway, promising to transform the venue into a premier destination for golf practice, entertainment, and casual dining.

Management shared their enthusiasm for the ongoing project, noting, “We have plenty of upgrades on the go at the moment, but we are excited by how the finished product/s will look.”

The ambitious initiative aims to solidify Whaleback’s reputation as a friendly, welcoming facility for all. Key components of the revitalization focus on introducing first-class golf practice and entertainment facilities, alongside a refreshed, relaxed food and beverage offering. Patrons will soon be able to enjoy a casual setting perfect for grabbing a tasty meal or a quick bite.

The team extended its thanks to the community for their patience and understanding while the construction is completed.

Crucially, the facility remains operational:

  • The golf course, driving range, pro shop, and Cafe all remain open.
  • Visitors should be aware of a few necessary modifications, restrictions, and temporary facilities currently in place to ensure safety and progress.

Whaleback is urging the community to continue visiting and supporting the venue as they work toward completing the upgrades that will redefine the golf and leisure experience in Parkwood.
