Golf Genius Names Dainty Managing Director – International in Planned Leadership Transition

POSTED ON August 12, 2026 @ 12:11 pm

LONDON (August 11, 2026) — Golf Genius has appointed Sean Dainty as its new Managing Director – International, marking a planned leadership transition as the golf technology provider expands its global operations.

Dainty assumes day-to-day leadership of the international division from Craig Higgs, who led the division’s global expansion for more than a decade. Higgs will move into a part-time role focused on business development and strategic advisory support to ensure operational continuity.

Planned Leadership Succession

The executive transition comes as Golf Genius continues to broaden its footprint across international markets. Under Higgs’ ten-year leadership, the company’s international division expanded to serve a network of over 1,100 clients across more than 60 countries.

In his new part-time capacity, Higgs will maintain involvement in key strategic initiatives and client relationships, while Dainty oversees daily operations and international growth strategies.

Dainty’s Background in Tech Leadership

Dainty brings over two decades of leadership experience in high-growth technology companies across global markets. Prior to joining Golf Genius, he served as Head of Middle East & Africa for Intapp’s DealCloud platform. His background also includes leadership experience at Datasite, a SaaS provider serving the mergers and acquisitions industry.

Global Market Footprint

Golf Genius currently supports more than 11,000 clients, associations, and organizations in over 60 countries worldwide. Its roster includes partnerships with more than 20 national golf federations and associations.

The company’s client network spans multiple sectors of the golf industry, including:

  • Private clubs and public facilities
  • Simulator golf facilities and resorts
  • Regional golf associations and national federations
  • PGAs and professional tours

Executive Commentary

Golf Genius leadership and incoming executives commented on the transition:

“Craig has played an instrumental role in building our international business and establishing Golf Genius as a trusted technology partner across the global golf industry. His leadership has created an exceptional platform for continued success, with a talented team, a loyal client base and a strong presence across key golf markets worldwide. Sean brings the experience, commercial acumen, leadership qualities, and passion for golf needed to build on that momentum as we continue to expand our international business.”

— Chris Kallmeyer, Chief Executive Officer, Golf Genius

“It has been incredibly rewarding to help grow Golf Genius internationally and work alongside so many fantastic clients and colleagues over the years, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. The business is in a very strong position for growth, and I know that the international business will go from strength to strength under Sean’s leadership.”

— Craig Higgs, Strategic Business Development & Advisory

“Golf Genius has built an outstanding reputation globally through its technology, innovation and commitment to customer success. The strength of the international business, the quality of the team and the opportunities ahead make this an incredibly exciting time to be joining. I look forward to working closely with our clients, partners and colleagues as we continue to grow and support the game around the world.”
