SDS & training

A business must provide staff with access to SDSs of all hazardous substances in the workplace. The SDS App provides access to your SDS’s and the epar SDS database and new SDS’s can be added. Staff also needs to be trained in the use of PPE. The Training Academy App provides the online PPE training program ready for your staff to complete online.

Chemical use

A record of all hazardous chemicals used must be maintained by any business. It also needs to be ensured that all chemicals handled or stored at the workplace is prepared and kept at the workplace. The Chemical App and the SDS provide a list of all of your hazardous chemicals. The Chemical App is also linked to the SDS database and provides SDS for all spray applications. You, as a business owner or manager, must provide any supervision to a worker that is necessary to protect the worker from risks to the worker’s health and safety arising from the work where the worker uses, handles, generates or stores a hazardous chemical.The SAO (Safe Act Observation) Inspection in the Inspection App provides for the recording and observation of workplace activities by staff.
