About the Role
Reporting to and assisting the Marketing Manager in various activities in Golf Marketing. The role also supports the Sales and Marketing teams with general and ad-hoc marketing duties.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Tools & Asset Management
- Responsible for the creation of a seasonal Tool Kit
- Effective management of the Global Assets
- Manage the distribution of launch assets to key accounts prior to launch timelines
- Support the sales team with sales tools and assets
- Manage the development of seasonal assets from brief to creation, working closely with external parties to ensure all required assets are delivered accurately and on time
- Assist with the development and order of promotional items delivering on-time and on-budget
Social Media
- Assist the Marketing Manager in the development of social media content strategy
- Maintain and update Mizuno’s social media platforms, consistent with brand personality, look and feel
- Create eDM campaigns and manage customer database
Graphic Design
- Take ownership for the graphic design of (but not exclusive to): POS, Sales Tools, Tech Tools, seasonal catalogues and others as requested by the Marketing Manager
- Maintain brand guidelines
- Liaise with external parties and agencies
Brand Marketing
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager on out-of-home campaigns from creative brief, design and implementation
- Ensure brand is consistent across all marketing and communications and that it is in line with business strategy and Brand DNA
Sponsorship and Events
- Assist with brand ambassador equipment contracts, supply of product and communication
- Assist with events and sponsorships
Key Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, business or similar
- Previous marketing experience (1-2 years) preferred
- Golf knowledge preferred but not essential
- An understanding of the Mizuno brand
- Ability to work in a team environment and support across all aspects of the marketing division when required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Initiative, proactive and forward thinking
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks – you are highly organised and deadline driven!
- Flexible and accountable, with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Possess a proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
- Attend weekend work when required
