JOB: Golf & Sport Manager – Sandhurst Club (Melbourne)

This is a compelling opportunity for a suitably experienced golf business professional to lead the golf, health club, and sport operations at this unique club.

The Club

Sandhurst Club is one of Australia’s largest lifestyle and residential communities. It boasts two championship golf courses; health club with fully equipped gym and indoor pool; sports centre with tennis and basketball courts; clubhouse providing hospitality and event services; and residential community of over 1,300 homes.

The role

We are now seeking a Golf & Sport Manager to help the Club become the premier golfing and residential community in Australia. Your immediate priorities will be to lead a high-performing service team; ensure the delivery of exceptional golf, health club, and sport experiences; and contribute to the effective execution of the strategic plan.

To be successful with this appointment you will possess the following key performance attributes:

Demonstrated leadership with a focus on delivering exceptional member and guest experiences by a high-performing service team
Substantial experience in the management and delivery of a premium golf experience, and supporting golf services, operations, and retail
Strategic focus, with successful development and execution of annual business plans

You will possess excellent management, financial and organisational skills with a willingness and versatility to work collaboratively with the CEO, senior management team, board, committees, and contractors. Also, you will be a friendly, independent, and motivated person with strong communication and personal skills that match the Club’s culture. A PGA accreditation, and an interest in health and fitness, are both highly regarded.

An appropriate remuneration package will be offered commensurate with the role.
