Par 3 Knock-Out event proven big success at Patterson River GC
The Patterson River Golf Club, located in Melbourne’s South East, held its first “Par 3 – Nearest the Pin Knockout” Event on Friday 15th February, with over 100 people attending.
The club said the feedback after the event had been extremely positive.
The event started with 48 players in the “Knockout” competition who each played shots from the edge of the outdoor terrace area across to a special pin placement 53m away on the chipping green.
The closest to the pin in each group progressed to the next round and eventually, after a number of close rounds, the competition was down to 2 players who then had a “Best of 3” shoot-out.
The winner, Paddy Batten, took home a $300 Pro Shop Voucher – Congratulations Paddy!!
Other features of the night consisted of having a special Member Draw, “fast” food truck style menu, and an outdoor DJ who entertained the crowd until well into the night.
