MSL Solutions recently listed on ASX

POSTED ON May 11, 2017 @ 12:01 pm

Major Australian golfing software supplier MPower and MSL Solutions (MSL) successfully launched on the Australian share market on Thursday, 4 May under the ticker code “MPW”.

The Queensland group successfully raised $16 million last year to acquire British hospitality software provider Verteda and golf tournament software firm Golf Box in preparation of the ASX listing.

MSL provides cloud-based and on-site software solutions to membership-based organisations through an open platform environment, allowing it to integrate with a number of other services. MSL has a head office in Brisbane with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, UK and Denmark and employs around 130 staff.

The technology company, with over 600 clients on board including MCG and ANZ Stadium, has continued to grow in strength using its cloud based and on-site software services in sports clubs and membership-based entities.

“We’ve been growing strongly as a company year-on-year for the last three or four years, and are profitable,” MSL chief executive Craig Kinross said. “This means the market has a bit of confidence about us as a business partner and we have been able to get funding to do what we want to do in the market place,”

“The reason for listing is so that we can continue to have that access to capital to grow internationally, and it’s a much easier platform than the pathway that we’ve had so far.

On behalf of the Company, we would like to thank all of our existing shareholders for their continued support and welcome all of the new investors as we continue our journey now as a public listed company.

“Our vision is to empower all Member Based Organisations and their Members with our market leading MPower platform growing their revenues, driving efficiencies and improving their governance.

“We look forward to continuing to work hard with our customers to deliver these benefits for their businesses. Listing on the ASX helps us to execute on our growth strategy toward achieving our vision in the international markets.”

The company’s golfing suite MPower Golf works across 12 countries, and with over 1200 golf clubs across Australasia and Europe using their software. It provides industry specific solutions including tee-times, scorecard printing and leader boards to help club managers run their businesses.
