Golfasian Bags Triple Whammy of Honors At World Golf Awards

POSTED ON November 27, 2017 @ 9:58 am

BANGKOK, Thailand (November 26, 2017) — GOLFASIAN has continued its hot streak at the World Golf Awards, picking up top honors in three categories at the 2017 event.

The company, Asia’s largest golf tour operator, was one of the big winners at the gala ceremony, held this year at the La Manga Club in southern Spain.

Golfasian was named Best Inbound Golf Tour Operator 2017 for Vietnam and Thailand, titles it has held now for four consecutive years. The operator was also named as Asia’s Best Golf Tour Operator 2017, a garland that reaffirms its status as one of the region’s most respected names in golf tourism.

Since its inauguration in 2014, the World Golf Awards has come to be recognized as one of the industry’s most prestigious events. Awards are voted on by leading figures from the golf tourism industry worldwide as well as by consumers in more than 100 countries.

“The fact that these awards were voted on by some of the most respected individuals in the golf tourism game as well as customers themselves highlights how huge an honor this is for Golfasian,” says Pascal Orczech, Golfasian Director of Business Development, who was in Spain to attend the ceremony. “It is further recognition of what we have worked so hard to achieve: being known as an undisputed market leader for golfers seeking an unforgettable experience in Asia.”

Golfasian has been a perennial presence on the winners’ podium at previous instalments of the World Golf Awards, confirmation of its lofty reputation in golf tourism circles. Established in Bangkok in 1997, it is widely recognized as Asia’s leading dedicated golf tour operator. Utilizing expert knowledge of the Royal and Ancient game as well as the region itself, the company prides itself on being the first choice for golfers embarking on a bucket-list vacation to dream destinations within Southeast Asia such as Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Indonesia.

A membership base of 162,014 is testament to the operator’s reach while impressively high numbers of repeat customers and referrals reflect strong levels of client satisfaction.

Golfasian’s success is also down to its versatility. The operator is as adept at tailoring packages for individual clients as it is at organizing group tours. In addition to its tours, the company also organizes fully fledged tournaments such as the Centara World Masters Golf Championship, an established highlight on Thailand’s golf calendar.

“Being commended in such a way is an absolute honor for all of us at Golfasian,” adds Orczech. “We believe these accolades are testament to our overriding philosophy, which is total client fulfillment. No matter if you are a return client or not, we treat each tour we organize as a once in a lifetime experience. As such, these awards are a reward for the tireless work of our staff who go the extra mile to ensure our guests are well looked after.”
