POSTED ON November 24, 2019 @ 9:40 am

Effective from November 1st, Australia’s most innovative golf business solutions providers are joined forces – Albatross Club Management Solutions (ACMS) acquired Quick 18 Australia Pty Ltd (Quick18). This brings together the well-established Quick18 platform with Australia’s latest golf operations and marketing software application, Albatross Golf.

Chris McCarthy, Managing Director & CEO of ACMS was quoted-

“Joining forces was something Andrew Davies [CEO of Quick 18 Aust] and I had started discussing in October 2018. Both Andrew and I share a common goal, to assist in reinvigorating the golf industry, to the benefit of golfers and golf course operators alike.”

Both Albatross and Q18 software applications offer tee time management, with advanced built in digital marketing and business intelligence functionality plus a host of other features to assist in effectively managing golf courses.

By leveraging this built in functionality, golf course operators can create digital communication opportunities notifying golfers of their course’s compelling value-added offers in the market.

The Albatross Golf application is perfect for golf course operators in the Private Member, Resort, Public market segments, including hybrids of these business models. Additionally, ACMS will now offer Public and Regional Course golf course operators Quick18 software which is a leading provider perfectly suited to that market segment.

The ACMS team led by McCarthy, is based locally in Australia and has developed the Albatross Golf cloud-based software as a service application. Dave Neill has also been welcomed to the ACMS team and will remain a key driver of Quick18 Australia. Andrew Davies stays on in an advisory capacity to assist ACMS with organisational and strategic development.
