The Role
Fairway Golf Tours is the number 1 provider of golf tours in the Hunter region of NSW and we are looking for someone to join our team who loves their golf, food and wine to help us continue to diverse our product offering in the area.
We are looking for someone with a great work ethic, and more importantly a high spirited individual to join our team and represent our brand.Fairway Golf Tours is looking to appoint a hands-on Hunter Region tour coordinator that will be primarily responsible for promoting and delivering golf, wine and food tours. It is essential that the successful candidate resides in or within close proximity to the Hunter Valley region
As the Hunter Region tour coordinator, you will be required to provide timely responses and information to prospective clients which includes quoting, itinerary preparation and on the ground service delivery. Some of the key deliverables include:
- Creating memorable golf, wine and food experiences for existing and new clients
- Quoting and itinerary creation
- Stakeholder relationship management
- Generating unique ideas to create new business
- Setting and working to sales targets set by you and the Fairway Golf Tours team
- Must be comfortable driving mini busses as transporting clients from accommodation to golf and wineries is essential
- Over 70% of weekends will need to be worked and occasional interstate travel
The successful candidate will have strong customer service and communication skills along with highly developed interpersonal and relationships building skills together with the ability to be self-motivated.
A remuneration package will be negotiated that reflects the qualifications, capabilities and performance of the successful applicant
Skills and experience
- Experience in the golf or travel industry will be regarded favourably.
- Knowledge of the Hunter Valley wine and food industry
- Passion for the game of golf, wine and food
- Attention to detail and well organised
- Must have a current full Australian drivers license
- MR class driver’s license is desirable, but not essential.
