JOB: Sales Agent – Australian Golf Equipment (Melbourne)

The Company

Australian Golf Equipment is a privately-owned golf equipment company, specialising in designing and manufacturing premium, high quality golf equipment and providing personalised service to golfers all over Australia.

Due to our exceptional growth and of the golf industry in general over the last 12 months, we are requiring a National Sales Agent to work exclusively with our brand.

This is a tremendous opportunity to be part of a booming industry post pandemic (according to Golf Australia) as well as be part of a unique and expanding Australian company driven by experienced golfing enthusiasts who know the market and what they need.

The Opportunity 

You will be the growth engine of Australian Golf Equipment and a hero to the Golf retail industry Australia Wide.

Working to establish and build relationships with key trade customers, you will have an ace up your sleeve to introduce and integrate a revolutionary new sales model that will facilitate sales of an exclusive product range.
With this model you will cultivate, grow and enable retailers to acquire, keep and expand their customer base, and enjoy greater bottom line profits.

What will you be doing? 

  • Source new sales opportunities through lead follow up and in person cold calling on recommended retail and trade outlets Australia wide
  • Build rapport with trade clients and golf clubs through friendly and engaging conversation and golf knowledge
  • Manage your own sales process
  • Conduct high volume prospecting to qualify and develop leads via calls and 
face to face follow up
  • Support back to base marketing and admin team with relevant and timely 
industry and client feedback

Some of the attributes you will need to demonstrate to us are

  • Great attitude and willingness to learn and master product knowledge
  • Strong communication skills, listening and asking questions are paramount
  • Proven Experience in Sales and a level of maturity that will create rapport quickly & 
build relationships
  • Exceptional Negotiation skills
  • Golf Industry Experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Be driven to me.et KPl’s and achieve sales targets
  • Present in a professional manner.
