JOB: Golf Club Manager – Gatton Jubilee Golf Club

Founded in 1933, the Gatton Jubilee Golf Club (GJGC) is one of the most picturesque 18-hole golf courses in Regional Queensland. The golf club has an outstanding community clubhouse facility and is located only 90 minutes (1 hour) west of Brisbane. The Gatton Township is central to the agriculturally rich Lockyer Valley and is home to numerous schools including the historic University of Queensland Gatton Campus.

The GJGC is undergoing some exciting changes which will position the club as the No. 1 Golfing Destination in the region. This unique and exciting hands-on role would be ideal for an up-and-coming business-focused professional who is looking to take control a regional golf club and work for a member organization.

Selection Criteria

Qualifications & Expectations

Demonstrated ability to operate a profitable food and beverage business within a member sporting organization.
Hold a current Qld RSA, Drivers License and Blue Card.

Communication & People Management

Ability to lead and motivate committees and teams.

Member & Customer Service

Demonstrate an ability to provide hands-on service to members and visitors.

Demonstrated hands-on experience with of Digital Communication Mediums.

Business and Operations

Ability to work with budget targets and report monthly.
Ability to operate business software

Systems & IT

Demonstrated hands-on working knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Excel/Word/Publisher/Outlook).

Safety

Demonstrate a sound understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements within a Golf Club Business.
