JOB: Teaching Professional – Redland Bay Golf Club

ABOUT

Redland Bay Golf Golf Club is situated on the foreshores of Moreton Bay, only 50 mins from the Brisbane CBD. A semi private golf course, Redland Bay has in excess of 1200 golfing members and is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated PGA professional to handle the lesson demands from our members and the public.

The successful applicant for this position must be a PGA of Australia Member, ideally with a Certified status under the PGA’s ACE Program alongside also preferably being Advanced in Coaching and Game Development as an indicator of engagement in ongoing training and development.

RSA and working with children’s card are required to perform this role (these can be obtained prior to commencement if need be).

Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager, the successful applicant will have a passion for the game and junior golf, be an excellent communicator and have the drive to deliver exceptional service standards. The applicant must have a passion for coaching the game and be well presented, honest and reliable, organised, self motivated with a good work ethic and possess a willingness to learn.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Conduct Individual lessons and group sessions
• Plan and set monthly programs for Juniors and beginner golfers
• Manage Junior and Cadet events
• Attend fitting days to maximise hardware sales
• Promote services via the club’s social media and clubs website.

Remuneration:

The successful candidate will be a contracted role with Redland Bay Golf Club, have access to all practise facilities, course (when available) to perform on-course lessons, range balls, and marketing resources through the club’s website / social media and notice board area.

• Redland Bay Golf Club has the following practice facilities:
• Newly built 280 metre long night driving range, with the ability to hit off grass and synthetic grass tees
• 140 metre long pitching area
• Practice bunker
• Chipping green
• Putting green

Lesson and bonus commissions will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Shop hours if required are as per Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020.

Commencement is available immediately for the successful applicant.
