JOB: Golf Administration Assistant- St Michael’s Golf Club
ABOUT
St Michael’s Golf Club is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated person in the role of golf administration assistant.
St. Michael’s Golf Club is situated in Little Bay, in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, and has a long history of being one of the best courses in NSW and prides itself by offering the highest of standards of service to all of their members and functions.
The golf administration assistant will be responsible for the operations of the match golf department and office reception area of the Clubhouse.
Whether it is member service or corporate golf days, the position requires an enthusiastic approach to serving customers
The role is multi-faceted. You must be organized with a strong customer focus and attention to detail. You are able to juggle multiple tasks at one time. Problem-solving skills, using your initiative and the ability to work unsupervised is essential.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
All areas of responsibility are to be carried out in accordance with the standards of St. Michael’s Golf Club:
Match Duties
- Under the direction of the Golf Manager administer all St. Michael’s Golf competitions including data entry, timesheet building, results publication and maintenance of the prize and ball ledger. This includes the Clergy on Mondays and the Vets and Ladies on Tuesdays
- Assist the Ladies with administration as required by the Lady President or Lady Captain
- Assist the Golf Manager with all aspects of Corporate / Trade Golf days including phone requests, mail outs of any information requested by clients, enter final bookings and all details into booking system, type and distribute run sheets to all staff, set up and maintain a Corporate Client data base
- Attend to golf booking; emails, and facsimiles for the Golf Manager or Golf Shop Manager
- Prepare notices and entry forms for club competitions as per the Fixture Book
- Displaying of trophies for major events if required
- Order trophies and arrange to engrave of trophies and prizes where required for major events
- Handling all correspondence from Reciprocal and Interstate Golf Clubs
- Booking Members into reciprocal clubs both interstate and overseas
- Update the Honour Boards as required.
