Founded in 1927, Mount Osmond Golf Club is the premier golf facility in Adelaide’s Eastern suburbs. The course has spectacular panoramic views of the city and the Mt Lofty Ranges along with an iconic heritage listed clubhouse.
The club is seeking a suitable person to assist the Golf Operations Manager and Head Teaching Professional to deliver an outstanding golf operations service, including retail operations, golf programmes and coaching to the members, and guests of the Mount Osmond Golf Club.
The club has a solid membership base of 1,200 members and a strong culture of offering quality coaching. The unique location opens an opportunity for the right person to help build our coaching business.
About the role
The successful applicant for this position would preferably be a member of the PGA of Australia, ideally with a Certified status under the PGA’s ACE Program.
A working with children’s card is required to execute this role (this can be obtained prior to commencement if need be).
Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager, the successful applicant will have a passion for the game and offer exceptional customer services standards to members and guest.
The role entails 30 rostered shop hours per week hours with the freedom to coach outside of these rostered hours.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- To provide outstanding service to members, guests and visitors.
- To assist with the management of the pro shop and all its other services.
- To assist in the management of all guests, visitors and corporate activities.
- To assist in the delivery of lesson programmes for individuals, groups and squads.
Remuneration
The successful candidate will receive a salary to cover anticipated shop hours and be contracted to provide lessons. Access to all practise facilities, course (when available) to perform on-course lessons, range balls, and marketing resources through the club’s website/social media and notice board areas.
Shop hours are as per Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020 with Lesson commissions negotiated with the successful applicant
Commencement is available immediately for the successful applicant.
