About The Royal Sydney Golf Club
The Royal Sydney Golf Club is a private members club and one of Australia’s most prominent social and sporting institutions. Overlooking the picturesque Championship Golf Course and set amongst the spectacular setting of Rose Bay, we are a unique destination for our members offering both sporting facilities and dining options. With 27 holes of golf, the golf program caters for members of all levels from children through to adults. The Role
The successful applicant will be required to coach a variety of lesson types from private lessons to group junior and adult classes as well as school holiday programs to the highest standards. The role also has opportunities to be involved in other club golf activities and events. Approximately 5 days per week and it is essential that the successful applicant has availability to work weekdays and weekends, including Sundays.
What does the Club need from me?
- Certified PGA Professional
- Demonstrated experience in golf coaching at a private Club
- The ability to run golf programs in all categories of Club demographics
- Experience working with the latest golf technology devices and software
- Diplomacy in managing members expectations and the needs of the Club
- Ability to build rapport quickly with members and their guests
- Excellent communication skills and presentation
- A positive team player who supports and works well with other departments
- Commitment to ongoing development
- Passion for excellence in customer service
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Administration hours relating to golf programs and lesson follow up
Through the recruitment process, you will be asked to provide details of a golf coaching curriculum that you have overseen and managed to show how the program was drafted, planned, executed and monitored covering beginner, intermediate, advanced and elite players.
