JOB: Golf Operations Manager – Wagga City Golf Club

Wagga City Golf Club is seeking a diligent and hardworking Golf Operations Manager to join our team. As a regional golf destination, we are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences to our members and visitors. Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day operations, including but not limited to; managing competitions and social golf bookings, food and beverage, and customer service.
• Supervising the care and maintenance of golf carts, ensuring they are clean, charged, and in good working condition.
• Providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering positive relationships with members and guests.
• Maintaining accurate records of golf operations, including cart rentals, inventory, and competition results.
• Utilising marketing expertise to develop and execute effective promotional campaigns to attract new members and guests.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Experience in developing and implementing effective sales and marketing campaigns to drive social golf and membership sales
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, strong computer skills and the personal qualities to work with a diverse member base.
• Strong work ethic with a diligent, punctual, and reliable approach, demonstrating a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• A valid driver’s licence and RSA.
